Q: My 2002 Ford Crown Victoria does not have seatbelts for the back seats help?
I was wondering if a Ford Dealership would have seatbelts for a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria in stock? What is you're guess? Or is there another place I can find them, I need them asap but dealership is closed now due to night any advice appreciated.

It is a former police car they must of removed them for some reason it has the ones on the let and right but not the thing it clips into..
A: In general, seat belts are not usually kept in stock at the dealers, due to the many different colours available, as well as vehicle applications. Being a 2002 Crown Victoria, I would be hard pressed to believe it doesn't have seat belts for the rear seat passengers, unless they were removed. You will need to have them ordered. When ordering, you will need to provide interior trim code information to get the correct ones ordered. Hope this helps.

I don't know why Ford Crown Victoria is more used in fleets such as taxis and police cars and few people buy. I think this car is considered to be a luxury executive sedan car.
A: i love the crown vic, dont get me wrong, the TERRIBLE depreciation is good for me so i can buy lots of used ones cheap, not so good to a showroom buyer, and when there is a merc and lincoln option for only a few grand extra who would buy the ford except cops and cabbies?
they are nice cars though, and when you swap in a dohc4.6 and some of the other parts from a cobra you have quite the sleeper there.

I tried a regular 2003 Ford Crown Victoria (non-police interceptor) CD/Cassette player and it would not fit the wire harness plug.
A: The police models did not come with CD players as optional equipment. One will have to go aftermarket.

A: Go to a shop that does power steering flushing and have that done first because the rack usually goes bad because the fluid got dirty!!! AND flushing is less than 100 dollars and it will at least keep the dirty fluid from messing up the pump even if you do need to change the rack later

A: I doubt you could put a 5.0 without having to switch all your wiring system over. But you can look around for the interceptor engines that the cops use in their crown vics. And to really give it balls, try to find their transmission as well.

I have a low-mileage Crown Victoria, 1997. A good car, but now I live in hilly Pittsburgh and I really would like to have better traction in the winter! Was there a limited-slip rear end made for the 97 Crown Vic, and could that be installed in my car?
A: Yes, a limited slip or "Traction-Lok" carrier can be installed in place of the non-locking rear end. Just look into any Ford Motorsport catalogue and you'll see them readily available. The price from Ford Motorsport will be significantly less than one purchased through the Ford dealer parts department. If you want to go cheaper than that, just source a used one out of any Ford product equipped with an 8.8" rear end. Installation is just a direct bolt-in. Just make sure the backlash and ring gear tooth contact pattern is correct after installation. Don't forget to add the friction modifier additive afterwards. Hope this helps.

I'm a Lisbon resident and one day when I was walking to my work I saw a white Ford Taurus with a diplomat corp registration parked on one of the hotels of the portuguese capital. Maybe was either of the American or Canadian Embassy I don't know. It was the only time I've ever seen a Ford Taurus in the Portuguese territory.

A: Follow the upper rad hose to the motor. Where the hose connects to the motor is where you will find your thermostat
Q: How do I access the spotlight wire on a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor?
Supposedly there's a power wire somewhere on the A pillar especially for a spotlight, I just don't know how to access it, or what to look for. The spotlight I bought has a little cap on the end of its wire, does it just plug in?
I bought it on ebay but it came with all the installation parts. The spotlight itself has a black wire about 3 inches long with a metal cap of some sort on the end.
A: pull the trim off the a pillar and you will see the wire.
